Turkey
Going home tomorrow for 'holiday break', bon fête I guess. Such a pointless break, would rather be printing, now we all get to stress out a bit more when we come back. I get to see friends and family, although briefly. Not to mention ma mère, as seen below in fine form.

Sometimes when you dream
You wake up and write really strange things. At the time this drawing made a lot of sense. But the more i look at it the more I think I'm trying to pull meaning from it, and that there isn't actually anything there.

It has something to do with the subjects certain knowledge of a thing, and then existing within that certain 'sphere of knowledge'.
Also it seems that I am horribly out of touch with the 'contemporary music scene'. I think I just listen to variations on old stuff. So if anyone wants to trade music please, let me know. (yes i stole this idea from victor)

Something cool
That I recently noticed, via Pandora well enough, was a nice band called sigur ros. I checked out their website and they have a few download-able songs, as well as an ftp where you can access more music and videos.. cool huh? there was also this cool video hosted via their website about 10000 paper air planes, sorta cool but sort of a waste simultaneously. Also somehow they have a documentary that is rated #2 on imbd?? what gives?

A Couple Things

One:
My friends Dan and Tracy got married last weekend. It was a blast. Good too see people you haven't seen for awhile, weird when it's that time of your life when people you know keep getting married.
Two:
Tim at Central Camera told me about something kinda cool coming up. It's a fundraiser for his friend Keith Dukavicius called Breakfast at Marleys. I'm a fan of Keith's and have seen one of his films screened here in Chicago at the Gene Siskel. It was called Egon, based on the life of Egon Shiele.

Two Friends of Mine
Two of my friends, Asher Danziger and Michael Meyer, are en route, via two touring bikes, to the Florida Keys. This is their route so far. The Beings are artists in collaboration, look at some of their work here.
